After 20 years, we are changing our offering. From 1 April 2022 we will be opening from 1pm to 7pm Friday and Saturday (last orders 6:30pm) and 12pm to 4pm on Sunday (last orders 3pm).

We are continuing social distancing and there will only be 26 people in the restaurant at any time.

We have taken the view that eating out in Deal ought to be affordable for everybody, and old chefs ought not to have to work until midnight. As always, all of the food is prepared from scratch on the premises.

We will be resuming in-house dining - for Friday evenings, Saturday evenings, Sunday lunch - from 21 May. Due to social distancing measures places will be limited to 26 guests so it's advisable to book in advance.

We will continue to operate our takeaway service as we have done since Lockdown 1.0. Our menus - available on the website - are updated by 9am every Wednesday, with calls taken for orders from 10am every Wednesday.

Update from Chef:
“Back from holiday at The Three Compasses - the food was great and they were really nice people.
I caught 14 whiting from the beach at high tide today, so they are on the menu!
The menu is done and we are back to the new normal now”.

Message from Chef:
We are on holiday this week and will be back to normal takeaway service from next Wednesday (17th). We just had our third holiday cancelled so are taking a break at a seaside B&B in Deal where the food is very good!

It is with great sadness that our much adored £100 Volvo went to car heaven on Monday.

She was taken from us at the early age of 26 and will be greatly missed by the people of Deal.

We can never replace her and we know she will live forever in our fondest memories. RIP.
