This is an 18th century 3 storey converted corn mill. Letting accommodation is on 1st and 2nd floors. Entrance to the accommodation is via 9 steps up to the 1st floor which is open plan, consisting of lounge, kitchen and the dining area. The bedrooms and bathroom are on the 2nd floor via 11 steps with handrail which are slightly steeper than normal owing to the original construction of the mill. There are audible fire alarms in every room.

If you like the countryside and wish to see Ospreys nesting, then the Brenig Reservoir is the place to be. Situated not far from Denbigh near the moors. We have a holiday let nearby in Nantglyn. It is a renovated corn mill with all the machinery intact, enclosed garden overlooking the river Ystrad. 2 bedrooms with off road parking. The Ospreys are nesting at the Brenig Reservoir just outside Denbigh. If there are any twitchers out there who would like to see these lovely creatures and wish a place to stay, we are Segrwydmill Holiday Let, Nantglyn. A grade 11 listed corn mill that has been renovated by the last miller’s son into a holiday let. It still retains all the original features, including the mill wheel. We are not far from the Brenig, so you can spend the day there, taking in the wild life have a trip on the lake, a walk or cycle around the reservoir. They also have nice cakes at their cafe which overlooks the lake. We are about 4 miles from the historic town of Denbigh, with its castle looming high above the town. The coast is about half an hour’s drive also.

Segrwyd Mill lies next to the River Ystrad and is situated on the outskirts of the historic town of Denbigh. It is a grade 2 listed building which has been in the Lloyd family for generations. To keep it from decay it has been lovingly renovated and converted into a holiday accommodation by the last miller’s son. It sleeps 4 and has an extensive garden/grounds in which to explore. Due to regulations all the machinery/workings have had to be left in situ, this also includes the mill wheel. The surrounding countryside is breathtaking and there are numerous places to visit not far away; whether it be for entertainment, exploring the Welsh countryside, just to have a stroll along the beach and perhaps take a dip in the sea or for the adrenaline junkies ‘Zip World’ is an easy drive, whatever takes your fancy!
