The National Tramway Museum is a living, moving experience where history is heard, felt and ridden. Step aboard beautifully restored vintage trams and travel through a recreated historic street before heading out into the stunning Derbyshire countryside 🌿

Carsington water is very popular with our guests.

As well as an accessible visitor centre (dogs welcome inside and out) they have a changing places toilet, and now they also have two mobility trampers - free for visitors to borrow - for two hours at a time.

Top tip. The mobility trampers cant be booked in advance. they are first come first served - so plan to arrive at 10am when they open for best chance of getting one.

If your looking for that perfect country garden to chill in on holiday, invite a few friends over for a BBQ, chill in with a glass of wine listening to the birdsong, the lambs bleating and the trickle of the water feature, we have the perfect garden for you.

We have one guest who likes to drive down the garden on his powerchair at night, and sit out with his tripod photographing the stars, with just the sounds of the night and his hip flask for company.
