You couldn't make it up! Our new chef has had a sudden death in his family, and is unable to work tonight, so unfortunately we will not be serving meals tonight.
Apologies to all those who had planned to eat here tonight, but under the circumstances we hope you will understand.
Dominic expects to be in tomorrow for the shoot dinner, and normal service should resume next week. Please keep an eye here, and we will post updates. Thank you from the White Horse.

Yep, we're back serving food at the White Horse. Our new chef starts this Friday evening (3rd Dec) for a one-night stand, before starting a regular service next week. If you can, please book on 01362 687464. We look forward to filling your tums once more!

It is with a lot of sadness that we heard today of the passing of Nick Wills, long-time regular in the pub and great sparring partner of Barry. Our thoughts and best wishes are with his family and many friends.
We will miss him greatly. Rest well Nick.
