Job Title: Business Development and General Manager
Full-Time Permanent Post
Salary: From £24,000

Duties include;

Manage our team of cleaners and ensure cleaning is up to a high standard and rooms are fully equipped for guests in our various locations
Meet and greet guests
Ensure guests are settled in their room and all needs are met
Work closely with the marketing department to come up with new ideas to drive sales
Work with tourists boards to create new business
Work with booking.com, Airbnb and other booking channels to manage bookings
You will be responsible for maintaining existing customer relationships, as well as generate new business.
The ideal candidate must have a proven track record and background working within this sector.
Identify and follow up potential new leads
Identify new business opportunities.
To plan and undertake sales and promotional activity, focusing on securing conferences, meetings and events and guest room business, in order to meet budgetary and other targets.
This would suit an experienced Business Development Manager with an outgoing personality and the determination to succeed.
Organise tours for guests throughout our various locations

Events & Marketing Manager
We are looking for an experienced and creative Events & Marketing Manager to join our team. As an Events & Marketing Manager at our company, you will be responsible for organising and coordinating fun events as well as managing bookings and pushing our company forward.
We are expecting you to be very well-organised and competent in vendor management and marketing. Communication skills, good time management and attention to detail are a must!

Events & Marketing duties and responsibilities
Research markets to identify opportunities for new business
Generating ideas for marketing and developing sales opportunities
Coordinate with our advertising manager
Attend networking events as necessary to promote events
Understand requirements and details of each event
Understand client’s/customer’s needs and wants
Plan and organise events with attention to financial and time constraints
Book venues and schedule activities
Meet with clients/customers and coordinate with them regularly
Negotiate with vendors to achieve the most favourable terms

Event Manager requirements and qualifications
4 years of experience as event coordinator or similar role
Portfolio of successful events
Proficient in MS Office

Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Team player & Good time-management skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Degree in hospitality management, marketing or business studies is preferred
