Explore North Devon | Clovelly Village

About an hour from Hele Valley, but definitely worth the drive.

Cobbled streets, traditional cottages, the harbour and plenty of beautiful coastal views - Clovelly is a great place to spend a few hours, especially as things get a little quieter in autumn. 🌊

Another North Devon day out to add to the list. 🙌🏽

October brings plenty to look forward to around Hele Valley, from autumn events and local festivals to family days out and a few spooky goings-on 👀

We’ve picked out four events worth knowing about, including Pumpkins at Watermouth Castle, Autumnfest at Arlington Court, the Ilfracombe Photography Festival and the Exmoor Dark Skies Festival 🙌🏽

And if you’re here towards the end of the month, don’t miss the Ilfracombe Fireworks & Halloween Party on 30 October - with a huge bonfire, fireworks and Halloween fun 🎃

As summer starts to wind down… 🍂

A big thank you to everyone who has visited Hele Valley so far this season. It’s been great to welcome so many of you and see the park busy throughout the summer 🙌🏽

But that’s not the end of the season for us. Hele Valley is still open, and there’s something quite nice about exploring North Devon at this time of year - quieter beaches, coastal walks and plenty of fresh sea air 🌊

And with Hele Bay right on our doorstep, there’s plenty to explore without having to go far 🌊

So, if you’re thinking about an autumn getaway, we’d love to welcome you 🌿
