If you love a challenge and want to experience the very best of the Peaks, these five long walks are absolute must‑dos! From dramatic ridges to peaceful dales, each one shows off a different side of our incredible national park. 💚

⛰️ 1. The Edale Skyline (20 miles)

A true Peak District classic! This circular route takes in Kinder Scout, Mam Tor, Rushup Edge, and Win Hill — with jaw‑dropping views the whole way. Expect a full day of adventure and some serious bragging rights!

🏞️ 2. The Monsal Trail (8.5 miles one way)

Follow this scenic former railway line through tunnels, across viaducts, and along the River Wye. Perfect for walkers and cyclists alike, with plenty of cafés and picnic stops along the way. 🚴‍♀️☕

🌬️ 3. Kinder Scout from Hayfield (14 miles)

Climb to the highest point in the Peak District! This challenging hike rewards you with sweeping moorland views, the famous Kinder Downfall waterfall, and a real sense of wilderness. 🏔️

🌳 4. The White to Dark Peak Trail (27 miles)

A journey through changing landscapes — from the rolling limestone dales of the White Peak to the rugged gritstone edges of the Dark Peak. A fantastic multi‑day adventure for keen walkers! 🌾

🪨 5. The Great Ridge & Win Hill Loop (11 miles)

One of the most scenic ridge walks in England! Starting in Castleton, this route takes you over Mam Tor, along the Great Ridge, and up to Win Hill for unforgettable views over Ladybower Reservoir.
