It’s amazing to watch a machine this size working our little patch of countryside and even more amazing to remember how long this job used to take.

Farming technology has come a long way even here on our small farm
Here’s a glimpse of our little farm getting a very big helping hand thanks to our son who describes it as an ‘after-tea-job!

Catching the last of the second cut………

There’s something rather special about the countryside at work and today we’ve had a front row seat at Alberts Dairy.
Thankfully the weather has played its part giving Robin a precious window to get the hay baled and safely gathered. A beautiful reminder that here, life still follows the seasons, the weather and the land.
What a view to enjoy it all from……. rolling countryside, big skies fresh air and the wonderful sights and sounds of rural life right outside the door.

What a difference a street can make! Earsham Street in Bungay is full of life, colour and character, with a wonderful collection of independent shops and businesses that make browsing here such a pleasure.
You can start with the mouth watering sights and smells of the traditional butcher, wander onto the fresh fish shop, then discover an amazing deli and a fabulous greengrocer overflowing with fresh produce. 🥩🐟🥕
Fancy a little pause? There are lovely cafés with outdoor seating, perfect for sitting back, enjoying a coffee and watching the world go by. ☕️🌸
There’s plenty to tempt the curious shopper too - from a charming sweet shop and toy shop to a wholefoods shop, an art shop and a gorgeous interior shop full of inspiration
It’s not just somewhere to shop - Earsham Street is somewhere to wander, browse, discover and enjoy. Every shop has its own personality, and together they create that wonderful old-fashioned high-street feeling where independent businesses, local produce and friendly faces still matter.
