Wood-fired pizzas, cocktails, blankets, board games and ancient woodland all around you 🌲🍕🔥

This year we’ve opened our woodland pergola and pizza nights to everyone — not just guests staying on site.

Watch your pizzas cooked in our huge traditional clay oven using locally sourced logs, with flames rolling through the oven as each pizza is baked fresh in front of you.

Settle in with a cocktail under the pergola, or wander down to the Mawddach Estuary with your pizza and catch the evening light over the water.

A cosy little corner of the woods to eat, drink and disconnect for a while.

Open every Friday & Saturday, plus Bank Holiday Sundays (for now… watch this space 👀)

Kitchen Assistant – Cefn Coed

🌿 Friday & Saturday evenings (5pm – close)
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Cefn Coed.

🌿 About the role

A fast-paced, creative environment within our woodland campsite, serving wood-fired pizzas, Welsh pies, and seasonal dishes.

🌿 Duties include:

Assisting with food preparation and cooking
Supporting service during busy periods
Serving customers where needed
Occasionally assisting on the bar during peak times
Keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and running smoothly

🌿 What we’re looking for:

Positive, can-do attitude
Ability to work under pressure
Team player with good communication skills
Flexibility and adaptability — campsite life can be busy, varied, and weather-dependent
Previous experience is a bonus, but not essential

🌿 What you’ll get:

Hands-on kitchen experience
Learn to cook authentic wood-fired pizzas — a highly sought-after skill that can open doors to working and travelling worldwide
Cocktail training provided
Supportive, creative working environment
Additional hours available throughout July and September when the kitchen is open daily

Spend time moving slowly through the landscape, learning how to identify, gather and use edible plants growing all around us, guided by local expert Kara Moses.
A chance to reconnect with the land, pick up practical skills, and see the surroundings in a completely new way.
Open to everyone — you don’t need to be staying with us to join. Come for the morning, or make a day of it with coffee, food and time outdoors.
