🎶 Sesiwn Fawr Dolgellau (16–19 July) One of Wales' best folk and Welsh music festivals, with live music, comedy, food, children's activities and entertainment throughout the town. A great weekend to visit Dolgellau.

🚴 Coed y Brenin Forest Park World-class mountain biking, gravel trails, walking routes and stunning forest scenery just a few minutes from Ty Cerrig. Bike hire is available on site.

🥾 Mawddach Trail A beautiful traffic-free route between Dolgellau and Barmouth, ideal for walking, cycling or simply enjoying the views along the estuary.

🏔️ Cadair Idris One of Wales' most iconic mountains. Early summer mornings and long evenings make this one of the best times of year to tackle the summit.

🌊 Barmouth Beaches Just 30 minutes away, with miles of sandy beach, paddleboarding, swimming and seaside cafés.

🚂 Talyllyn Railway Historic steam trains running through spectacular scenery between Tywyn and Abergynolwyn.

🐑 Meirionnydd County Show (26 August) A fantastic day out celebrating local farming, food, livestock, crafts and rural life.
