It is time to look ahead to the Spring when the garden at Arndean will be at its best. Why not come and stay at the Bothy and see for yourself as well as visiting the Japanese Garden at Cowden. The rhododendrons and azaleas will be in bloom between early May to mid June.

After a few days of no electricity and tree felling we are back up and running and looking forward to greeting our guests again. We have redecorating plans for both cottages over the next few weeks and lovely new windows in Ochil. We look forward to a great 2022 season.

The Bothy at Arndean is a renovated holiday cottage, sleeping 2, is now complete and ready to book. It is a level 1 disability cottage.

Arndean Cottages (Ochil Cottage and Blashie Cottage) are proud to announce that we will be following the cleaning protocol released in June. To help increase our knowledge, we also took a course designed to help owners and cleaners of self-catering properties.
In it, we covered:
• Risk Assessments (ours is available to read)
• The science of Coronavirus, its longevity on different surfaces and how to effectively and safely eradicate it from our property.
• What cleaning products we should be using and why, and their effective kill rates.
We are really confident that out property is entirely safe and we are looking forward to receiving guests soon.

The cottages are all set and ready for you as soon as you are allowed to come. The weather has been spectacular and I hope it is like this for the Summer.

Business is as usual at Arndean Cottages. We are lucky that we are in the Country and the cottages are isolated from other communities. There are wonderful areas to go for walks. Dogs are welcome. There are many weeks and weekends available. I hope to meet you during the Spring and Summer.

The mild Winter has encouraged families to visit Central Scotland and the cottages have been busy at weekends. There are a few available in February and I will definitely offer discounts.
