Following MCC's campaign to improve public transport for Muckhart, MCC is delighted about this new Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) service linking Muckhart with Dollar and Tillicoultry.
The new service, operated by Wee County Bus on behalf of Clackmannanshire Council, began on 7th September.
๐ค Service operates: MondayโFriday, 9.30amโ4.30pm
๐ Bookings: MondayโFriday, 10amโ12 noon ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ณ๐ด๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ณ๐ด๐ฌ๐ฌ
Journeys must be booked at least the day before travel.
The service provides another option for getting to Dollar and Tillicoultry for shopping, appointments, leisure or simply getting out and about.
๐ณ Concessionary fares are accepted, with fares for other passengers on a sliding scale. Discounted return fares and 10-journey tickets, valid for 28 days, are also available.
Each individual can make up to three return or six single journeys per week.

MCC is also using EDF Burnfoot Wind Farm community funding to explore the potential for a transport link between Muckhart and Kinross, including connections with onward transport through Glenfarg Community Transport Group's proposed Connected Communities pilot. More information will follow as options are explored.
