An insight to a changeover day.
Our changeover preparation begins on a Thursday.
Ironing bedding Topping up our cleaning caddy’s Everything to hand for a smooth departure
Our check out time is 10am on a Friday morning & we always try to see our guests before departing & thank them for staying.
Our changeover routine takes a minimum of 3 hours. We strip everything out & then start methodically cleaning, disinfecting & polishing EVERYTHING room by room.
Only when we are 💯 satisfied with the clean will we start re-dressing.
Replenishing welcome packs Fresh towels, tea towels, oven gloves Filling up cleaning products Topping up toiletries Complimentary drinks in the fridge Toilet rolls & kitchen rolls Fresh bedding Checking the TV’s, Wi-Fi & every light bulb
Once everything is dressed it’s time for hoovering & dusting & a final double check!
Then we turn our attention to the outside!!!
Recycling bin cleaned Windows cleaned Flowers in pots deadheaded Outside furniture cleaned Hedges tidy. Key in the key safe
And as if by magic 🪄 ✨ The Annexe is guest ready again.

I always think of all the holiday let’s doing changeovers on a Friday - it’s been a very challenging summer - cleaning in temperatures in the high 30’s some weeks 🥵 So we salute you all - the unsung hero’s of changeover days ❤️
And here we are…………all ready for our new arrivals while I spend the rest of the afternoon doing the laundry! 🧺 🤦♀️🥂
