🤠 WOW… what a day we’ve had so far! 🤠

Bere Essentials got us straight into the country spirit with some chilled-out tunes and plenty of laughs! 🎶❤️

Then the lovely Jo from Funky Sole Line Dancing got everyone up on their feet, teaching us some amazing line dances — and all in this heat! 🥵💃🕺 What a superstar!

🐂 The rodeo bull is going strong… but have YOU got what it takes to stay on?! 🤠

And the fun isn’t stopping there! Taking to the stage is the brilliant -Anne Lifford Band 🎤🎸🎶

Best of all, today is about bringing our community together for a really important cause — raising funds for a defibrillator and a children’s defibrillator. ❤️

A HUGE thank you to everyone who has come along, joined in, donated and supported us. Every bit of support makes a difference, and we couldn’t do it without you.

🤠🎶 We’re excited to welcome Route 66 to the stage this evening, kicking off our Country & Western Fundraiser in style!

The bar is open, we have local cider and lager from Purbeck Cider on chilled draft, the food is cooking, and we’ve got cowboy hats and bandanas for sale. There are ice creams and slushies to keep you cool, plus Straw Mountain fun for the kids!

Great music, tasty food, cold drinks and plenty of Western fun—all for a great cause, raising funds for a new defibrillator for Bere Regis Doctors Surgery. ❤️

The tents will be going up, the bar is being stocked and The Pure Tones are coming to kick off our summer in style! 🎶🍻

Join us on Friday 7th August from 8pm–10.30pm in The Cider Barn for a brilliant night of live music, dancing and proper Throop Hollow Farm good times.

🤠🎶 Our Country & Western Weekend tickets are selling fast... here's a look at what's in store! 🎶🤠

📅 Friday 14th August 2026

🎸 Route 66 kick off the weekend from around 7.45–8pm, bringing an electric evening of live music, dancing in the barn and a fantastic atmosphere to get the party started!

📅 Saturday 15th August 2026

🎶 2:00pm – Bere Essentials take to the stage! A brilliant local five-piece band specialising in Bluegrass and beyond.

💃 4:45pm – Pull on your boots and join Funky Sole Line Dancing in the barn. No experience needed – just come along and have fun!

🐂 7:00pm – Think you've got what it takes to stay in the saddle? Test your skills on the Ringwood Rodeo Bull... if you dare! 🤠

🎤 8:00pm – Round off the day with the fantastic Jo-Anne Lifford Band, playing all the upbeat favourites you know and love. Guaranteed to keep the dance floor full!

Whether you're a country music fan or simply looking for a fun summer weekend, there's something for everyone.

Nothing says summer at Throop Hollow Farm Campsite quite like a delicious fresh ice cream! 😍

Whether you've spent the day exploring Dorset, relaxing by your pitch or the kids have worn themselves out on the farm, our creamy soft ice creams will be waiting for you! The important decision is flake or no flake?!🍦☀️
