The cool of the morning and evening are offering the most sport in this blistering heat so probably not the most ideal conditions in the middle of the day. However the river has to be the most magical place with its cooling breezes and whispering flows !

The River Frome, the westernmost of England's renowned chalkstreams, flows through the Estate's waters along its finest stretches just north of Dorchester in Dorset.

At Wrackleford, offer a variety of fishing beats suitable for one or two rods on the river, along with a stillwater lake. These beats are available on a day ticket basis or to a select few season rod holders. Each beat is meticulously maintained, regularly stocked, and equipped with a fishing hut for shelter during bad weather.
