What a find! Thought lunch was great but dinner at in Moffat was absolutely excellent. Lovely decor, a Gin Lounge to wait in and you move through to the dining room when your food is ready, wonderful food and very reasonable. If you're passing Moffat on the way to/from Scotland it's definitely worth the short detour. Next time might have to be with my school friend Kim Garland to try out the Gin Lounge properly as I stuck to Diet Coke as driving back to Dorset tomorrow

98 cherries from our miniature cherry tree this year which my cousin Kathryn Hislop gave to Mum for her 80th 7 years ago, I believe that is our record so far!

So, Harry and my pre-season break in Dalyan is nearing its end. Today was spent on the 12 Island tour through Brilliant Tours which brought back more memories than expected as I worked with the captain (Adnan) in 2001 when he managed a hotel I worked with back then.

20th March, lovely blue skies and our first guest of the year to ask could she have her breakfast in the garden. We normally start think of doing this in April or May but it was such a lovely morning so why not!

Kingston Maurward College arranged a charity tractor run today in aid of Yellow Wellies, a charity supporting mental health in agriculture. What fun, well done to all those who gave up their time to organise it and participate. All of us at Bramlies Bed & Breakfast (***) with Alison Demir enjoyed it very much, watched it pass at 2 points on the route.
