Apologies if you have been trying to reach us over the last couple of days....a fire on the other side of the village has knocked out the internet for us and much of the village! This also means our phone lines just go to voicemail.

You can still book to dine or stay via our website. Other email enquiries might take us a bit longer to respond to.

Current estimates are that all will be back to normal by next Wednesday.

Opening hours are as normal. Look forward to seeing you at the Gaggle soon!

This Saturday at the Gaggle....Laser Tag in the gardens from 4pm! No need to book, just pop along to play. £6 a game or three games for £15.

And we will be doing our wood fired menu in the evening....likely that you will need to book so get in touch or go via our website.

It's almost time for Gagglefest! Here are few useful things to know....

Parking for the event will in a field directly behind the pub, off Hilling Lane. Please follow the signs and drive carefully on the lanes as there are likely to be pedestrians. Dropping off at the pub is fine and there will be a limited number of disabled spots.

Food & drink - please support the pub by not bringing your own food and drink to Gagglefest. Plenty of choice ... three bars, pizzas, buddha bowls, icecreams, brownies, cheeseburgers, halloumi, tacos, hog roast, caesar salads, fries and even Spudos! Vegan and GF options available. There will also be water stations for you to help yourself to.

Things to bring - there will be lots of seating available although these may go quickly. You might want to bring your own camp chairs. Suncream, brollies and hats should cover you against the weather options!

Things to do - as well as the amazing local bands. The kids can also enjoy our playbus & face-painting. Have a go in our Laser Tag arena. And try axe throwing with Dorset Medieval Archery. And shop with a range of local crafters. You can also visit the fundraising games with Angel rabbit rescue

Tickets - these are currently available over the bar and via www.ticketsource.com/gaggle
There will be a limited number on the gate - but they will be more expensive - best to buy in advance if you can.

Music - will be from midday until the festival close at 9.30pm. The main stage will be the following running order - Thirsty Ferrets , The PURE TONES, Milk & Two , The Surfin' Birds and then The BIG Shorts .

The tipi stage will see Aphrodites Singers followed by Lick the Frog and then Open Mic
