Did you know that during winter is the best time to look for fossils along our coastline?

It's best to go and hunt for fossils right after a winter storm, when big waves have revealed previously hidden fossils along the shoreline.

You can book guided fossil walks with local experts including the Lyme Regis Museum and Charmouth Coast Heritage Centre.

Always follow the fossil collecting code and put your safety first.
