Our Story
The Steading offers boutique Bed and Breakfast accommodation set in a semi rural part of the royal burgh of Dornoch. The Steading Inn itself is a historic 150 year old former grain store which has been sympathetically restored to reflect its original character outside while giving it a modern conversion inside. This is reflected within by Eight beautifully appointed bedrooms; all ensuite, with Superking size beds and pillows and all the modern amenities one would expect in a 5 star hotel but keeping it with the feel of something very personal.
The Steading Dornoch is a full service Small Hotel. We provide breakfast and evening meals, we have an alcohol license, private secure parking, spectacular views from the lounges and dining room. We are in the most perfect location for those doing the NC500 as we are just of the route and we are just a 5 minute drive from the town of Dornoch. Ideally located outside of town in a semi rural location we are between several major golf courses including the world’s number 5 ranked course at Royal Dornoch
The Steading is an adults only property and we pride ourselves on attracting ‘like minded people’.
