Rural Retreats has once again been named by Which? recommended provider for UK Holiday Cottages the fifth year running.

✨ Hidden among the hills and woodland of the Conwy Valley in North Wales, Bodnant Estate is home to a beautiful collection of old stone cottages, restored farmhouses and converted barns, each tucked into its own wonderfully secluded corner of the landscape. 🌿🍂

Think misty mornings overlooking the Carneddau mountains, sheep-dotted fields, woodland turning shades of gold and miles of private estate paths to wander before heading home to light the wood burner.

Some cottages sit high above the valley with panoramic mountain views. Others are nestled deep among woodland and pasture.

There are romantic hideaways for two, larger houses for gathering everyone together and plenty of places where bringing the dog is very much encouraged.

And beyond the estate, you’ve got Bodnant Garden on the doorstep, with the mountains, coast and wider beauty of North Wales waiting to be explored.

Tucked away along a private track in Great Limber, in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds, The Vicarage and The Cottage are two Grade II listed properties sitting just a short distance from one another.

And the beauty of them? They can be booked separately, or together.

The Vicarage brings the grandeur, with six bedrooms, elegant reception rooms, wood-burning stoves, a magnificent dining room made for long celebratory dinners, sprawling gardens, private woodland and even a games room tucked inside the original prayer room.

Nearby, The Cottage offers something a little more intimate. Think exposed beams, cosy fireside evenings, two beautiful bedrooms and its own south-facing walled garden, complete with a Grade II listed open-sided barn.
