It’s official, summer has now said goodbye and I’ve put the heating on in the office 🥶 Anyone else caved yet or just me 😬?

The nights are drawing in but it still amazes me how beautiful woodlands is no matter the time of year or weather!

I’m curious what winter we will have? Anyone predicting snow ❄️ 🤔

Whatever the weather Woodland Springs Touring park is the place to be. Remember we only close in the month of February. See you all soon. 🥰

Unfortunately not one of our nicer posts.

I would have thought this was obvious but clearly not so I’ll put it out there…….

Please please PLEASE don’t take ci******es into our toilet blocks!!!!! And for the love of god DON’T dispose of them in a bin full of paper Towels 🤦‍♀️
Even a put out cigarette can generate enough heat to catch fire and in a bin full of paper in a Wooden block, surrounded by Woodlands?….. well doesn’t take a genius to know it wouldn’t end well.

So going forward we do ask that all ci******es are smoked on your personal pitch and disposed of by yourselves safely and NOT in our bins 🙄

Good Afternoon you lovely lot.

So today I was chatting away to a lovely guest and she referred to her Caravan by a name!!! When I questioned if I had heard right she replied that she had always named all her caravans and motorhomes. So now I’m curious………… How many of you have named your Caravan or Motorhome? And if you don’t mind sharing? What is it and why? 🤔

Let’s not put it off!!! Remember Woodland Springs Touring park is open for 11 months of the year!!!

Yes that’s right we are open from the 1st of March until the 31st of January and only close for the month of February.

So if you haven’t booked an Autumn/ Winter stay with us then get booking!!!!!

A little taster of the Folk Night at the globe inn in Chagford 🥰

If you take a mere 10 minute drive into the beautiful village of Chagford you will find The Globe inn. I had the pleasure of having a meal there a couple of nights ago and it was beautiful!!! Then after they had a Folk night on with the most amazing atmosphere and talented musicians. I can’t recommend this pub enough. The land lady Mary and all her staff are very friendly and welcoming and have lost of different events on all the time so I highly recommend you keep an eye on what’s on.

Another lovely guest checked out today. Popping in to say how beautiful the park was and could I say a special Thankyou to my partner Jack for going out of his way to help when they had car problems during there stay.

Not only was he able to get them back on the road temporarily so they could get it fixed he was able to diagnose the problem saving them finding a garage and being able to sort the problem themselves without hindering there a holiday.

Jack has always and will always be the best when it comes to our customers. From repeat customers to like these guests brand new to woodlands, Jacks knows how to leave a lasting impression making guests want to return again and again.

And me? Well I’m lucky enough to keep him all the time 🥰
