2022! So… still here. And, since 2019…many changes. Yes, still closed as a BnB and daughter has moved to York and I’ve added a husband to the household. Sadly, we’ve lost Columbus, Petal, Misty and Cookie from our cat family (the chunky tabby and his little sister, my beautiful grey/peach girl and her ginger brother) and the “matriarch “ tabby Angel is still hanging on (although deaf and going blind) at 23! And 2 newcomers- Eddie cat and Jess, a Romanian rescue pup. Added some professional cheffing to my belt too! I am currently looking at how we can re-invent Glenrowan in some way, although unlikely as a B&B in it’s original format and possibly looking at something different with a food focus or something quirky!

Many of you will know that I haven't been taking bookings this season. I've had a lovely few years running Glen Rowan and meeting some amazing people from all over the world, some of whom I can now call good friends. After some thought, I have decided to move on to the next chapter and that will include a move so, with that in mind, I feel now is the time to let you all know that Glen Rowan will be going up for sale shortly. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your custom and support during my time here. I wish you all the very best and hope you continue to enjoy your travels to our beautiful country. ❤️

Dear biker folks! listen up... if you are heading up north there are a few places you can happily stop up.... firstly my lovely mates Iain and Fiona Dempster at the Leadburn Inn near Penicuik, just outside Edinburgh. Lovely place. Lovely peeps. And SCOTLANDS ANSWER TO THE ACE CAFE IN LONDON! The Bikers Cove in Queensferry for a bit nosh and heading up North, Roy Bridge Hotel with Martin and Christine where you can stay and eat/drink to your hearts content!...
