Hello everyone ,
Kevin McLeod and Alastair Blair are taking on a fundraising challenge in support of homeless veterans.
As many of you are aware, I'm about to take on the hardest challenge I've faced since leaving the Army in 2008.
I will be kayaking from Edinburgh to Auchinstarry (55 miles over two days), while my good friend Alastair Blair will be walking the same 55-mile route over three days. Together, we're taking on this challenge to raise money for homeless veterans—a cause that is very close to our hearts.
Not long after leaving the Army, I found myself needing the support of Scottish Veterans Residences. More recently, I've had the privilege of working there, helping fellow veterans who are going through difficult times. It's a place that means a great deal to me, and I know first-hand the life-changing difference it can make.
The aim of this challenge is to raise as much money as possible to help cover transportation costs for veterans. This funding will enable them to attend medical appointments, group activities, and employment courses. Simply getting out and about, connecting with others, and accessing support can have a huge positive impact on both physical and mental wellbeing.
If you're able to donate, no matter how big or small, you'll be helping to make a veteran's difficult journey just that little bit easier.
Every pound truly makes a difference, and every share helps us reach more people.

Now that the feet have had time to rest we want to properly congratulate our incredible friend Roberta who not only smashed running the West Highland Way in an outrageous 18hrs 46mins, she also came in 1st for ladies and overall 13th out of 233 other athletes 🔥
Not only does Roberta possess superhuman qualities but she is also the most sweetest & humble girl and we’ve all be completely invested and in awe of her journey and achievement!

We know how hard she has worked and so proud to see her smash her goal 🎯
We were equally so glad to give her a special “Drymen Inn style” ceremony at the Inn on Sunday and fill up that well deserved trophy with bubbles 🥂😂

Well done to all the other runners on accomplishing what most of us are exhausted even thinking about, you are all champions in our eyes 🏆
