Dairy Cottage sits high above the pretty riverside town of Dulverton on the south facing slopes of the River Barle. In the valley is the rushing river, at the top of the hill is open moorland. Exmoor ponies and red deer can be seen within yards of the cottage, and sometimes from the cottage itself. Just to say that we have updated the availability calendar on our webpage to show prices for 2026 - our summer holiday price remains unchanged but there are small increases out of season to account for the rise in energy prices.
This year we have changed the mattress on the main double bed to a British made Postureflex one and have had good feedback - one lady wanting to buy one for herself - come and try it !

Just to say that we have updated the fire alarms to linked mains alarms in all rooms and locks on the cottage to thumbscrew exits as per the new fire regulations
