Upon entering the beautiful single-storey property, you will be greeted by the spacious entrance hall, a useful space to hang coats and leave muddy shoes after a walk through the countryside. The light and spacious, open-plan lounge/diner features a cosy wood burner and Smart TV, so you can relax in the evening and enjoy your favourite programmes. From here there are also French doors that lead to the raised decking, where you can let the outside in on sunny days and enjoy the views. Leading from either the hallway or the lounge/diner you enter the well-equipped kitchen with electric Range master oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, a great space to prepare a meal. Back to the hallway you will find the two bedrooms, a king-size bedroom which enjoys countryside views and a twin. Completing the property is a contemporary bathroom with a shower over bath and WC.
Venturing outside from the kitchen there is a large covered porch perfect for taking off muddy wellies after a countryside walk or drying off your four-legged friend. This beautiful detached bungalow offers the perfect holiday accommodation with far reaching countryside views, peacefully tucked away in the village of Exton, in the heart of Exmoor National Park. With direct access to numerous footpaths and bridleways from the front door. With a circular walk to the village pub in Bridgetown.
With a short drive there are moorland walks and coastal paths of the South West coastal path. Along with the sandy beach at Minehead with it’s many attractions including the West Somerset steam railway, Blue Anchor and Dunster.
Within easy reach there are plenty of places of interest including Dunster castle, Tarr steps (old clapper bridge) with it’s moorland and circlar river walks. Dunkery Beacon (Exmoors higest point) with it’s far reaching views and sightings of Exmoor ponies and you may be lucky enough to spot Exmoor’s Red deer. For sailing, canoeing, Fly fishing and walking there is Wimbleball lake.
Other places of interest include the pretty villages of Porlock, Lynton and Lynmouth (with the steepest water powered railway). The harbour town of Watchet and the medieval village of Dunster.
