We have been very busy over the last couple of weeks preparing the site for opening on Friday this week. Fortunately we have had a few dry days to cut the grass and paint outside. I received an email this morning and the lovely guests gave me permission to share it here:

'My wife and I had a great stay at your caravan site. It was our first time staying with you and I must say we were both really impressed with every aspect of your site. You have obviously put a lot of time and effort into creating and maintaining the site to a very high standard. We were made very welcome on our arrival (even with a complimentary coffee) and your professional and friendly service throughout our stay was very much appreciated. All members of the staff that we met were a credit to the business.
We had a perfect pitch right by the river and were able to enjoy sitting out of a morning and evening looking over the river enjoying our breakfast and evening meal.
WE WILL DEFINITELY BE COMING BACK.'

I had the pleasure of watching The Salt Path last weekend. The scenery was just beautiful. A great deal of it was filmed on Exmoor so I spent half the film working out where they were! I hope you love it (if you do go to see it) as much as I did.
