5+ years of Outstanding Guest Feedback for Auchen Ladder 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We have worked hard to keep our standards high from the launch of our holiday cottages. The hard work put in from behind the scenes has paid off. Thank you to all involved.

To all our guests who stay with us, thank you! We love meeting you all and seeing you when you return.

When in for the important coffee break during lambing it was lovely to see an email from cottages.com telling us we had been awarded Customer Choice Awards 2026 for Inverallan!

This is given to owners whose holiday homes have achieved a consistent score of 4.75 out of 5 (or above) for the “overall” rating through Feefo guest satisfaction feedback.

This also means we fall in the top 20%!

We want to say a massive thank you to all our guests who have came and stayed with us over the last year!

Looking forward to this year we have limited availability over the summer at Inverallan.

We will let you know tomorrow how Auchen Ladder got on….

The results are in…… Lambing 2026 is pending ⌛️

Hartbush Holiday Cottages are on a working farm based in Dumfries and Galloway.

We don’t normally share the farm side of the business on our cottage page. However we are delighted that returning buyers Rockcliffe Luing Cattle Herd have stock bulls bred by us and that our genetics are up for grabs next month at their sale.

We would like to wish them well in their reduction sale next month.
