The old stables was one off the best places we have been everything was so perfect and peaceful could not find any problems so clean and tidy great location we will be booking again in the future everything inside was excellent quality 10/10 love this place

Escape from it all in Mabie Forest buzzing with nature!
Mabie woods and hills are peaceful with something for everyone;

Mabie Forest in Dumfries is one of the world class 7 stands mountain biking centres and caters for beginners right through to the expert riders.
There is also a great bike shop nearby called the frothy bike co. Where you can take your bike and sit down for coffee and cake while you wait. Mabie Forest

Did you know Dumfries in Scotland has some of the best beaches.

In the list of the top 10 beaches in Dumfries And Galloway as selected by the users of the Beach Guide website,
at 1. Is the Rockcliffe Beach.
Rockliffe is a sandy beach located at the southern end of the Dumfries and Galloway coastline. It is part of a National Scenic Area and there are plenty of National Trust areas around the beach. In fact this is known for being one of the most beautiful areas of coastline anywhere in Scotland.

As such it is a great favourite with walkers, many of whom flock to Rockliffe and its surrounds every year, particularly as dogs are allowed on the beach year round. There are many marked routes for visitors to choose from. There is excellent cliff- top coastal scenery on the route between Rockliffe and Sandyhills.
