Golden Oak Chalet The Golden Oak Chalet is situated on the coast of Dunbar, East Lothian. The living room/kitchen area has a dining space and flat screen TV/DVD player.

The Golden Oak Chalet is situated on a working farm in the coastal town of Dunbar, East Lothian. The chalet can house up to 6 guests; 1 master bedroom with double bed, the bunkroom (2 guests) and a double sofa bed in the living room/kitchen area. Kitchen is fully equipped with sink, fridge, freezer, gas cooker, electric oven, microwave, toaster and all utensils. The shower room contains a toilet,

sink and power shower. All windows and doors are double glazed and the chalet is heated by LPG central heating. Idyllic, with spectacular views of the Bass Rock and the Fife coast, we can guarantee glorious sunsets. The town of Dunbar is approximately 2 miles from the Golden Oak Chalet. Dunbar has many shops and cafes which sell local produce. Other local tourist attractions include Links Golf course, East Links Family Park, Foxlake Wakeboarding, as well as the John Muir walkway, cycle paths and miles of East Lothian beaches. For those who enjoy visiting historic sites, Doon Hill Ancient Monument is on the doorstep. You can travel a short distance to North Berwick where Tantallon Castle, the Marine Spa, Seacliff Stables or the Seabird Centre may take your fancy. We are approximately 1 mile off the A1 which is a mere 35 miles into Edinburgh where there is something to suit everyone. Hop on the train at Dunbar train station for a stress free journey into the Capital in around 30 minutes. There is never a dull moment on the farm and we welcome guests to roam freely to see the animals and experience farm life. We have a herd of Limousin Beef cattle, a variety of different sheep breeds including Zwartbles, Hampshires, Texels and Shetlands. Free range chickens and ducks (fresh eggs available to buy on site) and even some pigs and horses. Book your visit through: Guests are welcome from 3pm arrival and departure at 10am. All towels/bed linen provided. Sorry, no pets allowed.
