With summer now wrapped up, we’re making a small change to our Bar & Restaurant opening hours from tomorrow, Monday 7th September.

🕒 Monday–Thursday
Our kitchen will take a short break between 3pm–5pm.

🍴 Friday–Sunday
Enjoy full-day food service, with no afternoon break.

Last food orders:
Sunday–Thursday: 9pm
Friday & Saturday: 9.30pm

But don’t worry, during our afternoon kitchen break, the bar remains open for traybakes, hot drinks and even an ice-cold b**r if you fancy!

🎣 BAIT POND UPDATE! 🎣

We’re giving the bait pond a much-needed top-up and tidy-up!

The fantastic summer weather with plenty of heat and sunshine, but very little rain has been great for many of our activities, but it’s made things a little tougher for anglers.

The w**d in the bait pond was cut at the beginning of June and, following previous years, wasn’t due for another cut until the end of October. However, this year’s weather has had a dramatic effect on growth, so we’ve called our w**d-cutting team in much earlier than planned.

From Wednesday, the pond will be getting a serious clear-out, removing the excess w**d to:

🎣 Make it easier to get fish on the hook
🪱 Improve the overall fishing experience
🎯 Re-open spinners and lures as a method of attack
🐟 Give the fish fewer places to hide!

Once the work is complete, we’re hoping for much better fishing conditions and a more enjoyable experience for everyone on the bank.

And that’s not all…

🎣 The Fly Pond is also getting a top-up very shortly!

We’ll keep you posted as the work progresses. Better fishing is on the way!
