Calling all landlords!

Angus Council have announced their new business rates relief for 2026-27. You could be eligible for up to 15% rates relief from your annual bill. This will be available for 3 years from 2026-27 to 2028-29.

If your rateable value is up to and including £100,000 and you operate in the following, you may be eligible:

- bed and breakfast accommodation or guest house
- chalet, holiday hut or both
- self-catering holiday accommodation (short-term let licence is required)
- timeshare accommodation

If you are already receiving 100% relief, you won’t be eligible for this new rate.

This new relief is also to be capped at a maximum of £110,000 per ratepayer .
