Balgownie Mains Farm Balgownie Mains Farm is a family run, mixed farm just outside Culross in West Fife. Balgownie Bunkhouse caters for 1-12 people in en-suite bunk rooms.

It has open plan communal kitchen living area and 3 bedrooms all sleeping 4 in adult bunk beds with an en-suite shower room. 🐮 We now have three new additions to the fold!

Highland cows are very private and hide away to give birth and then keep their new arrivals hidden away until they build up strength so it has taken us a little while to get these pictures.

We had a lovely time showing our friends from Wisconsin around the farm earlier in July.

Thankfully they had came fully prepared as the weather was not typically Scottish during their stay.

Whilst they were with us they enjoyed time in Edinburgh doing a walking Harry Potter tour, soaking in the sites of the city and also a tour of Edinburgh Gin

The following day they visited the Kelpies, Helix Park and The Falkirk Wheel.

On the farm they met the Highland coos, ponies, goats and all the cows.
