There is something rather special about stepping inside an old village church and discovering the stories held within its walls.

From 18th to 20th September, join us for Sacred Somerset, a weekend exploring some of the beautiful historic churches of West Somerset, with guided visits, local history and plenty of time to enjoy the area.

Your stay includes dinner, bed and breakfast, lunches, transport to the churches and guided visits throughout the weekend. We will also visit Minehead RNLI Station, before finishing on Sunday with a traditional roast lunch.

The price is £290 per person, with double, twin and single rooms available.

If you enjoy history, heritage, beautiful buildings and discovering places you might otherwise pass by, this could be a lovely way to spend a September weekend in Somerset.

We’re delighted to be currently hosting one of our collaborative walking breaks with Wilkes Walks.

These breaks are about much more than accommodation. We work closely with our partners to help create a smooth, well-organised experience for walkers, supporting with meals, local logistics and everything needed to make Dunster a comfortable base for exploring Exmoor.

For us, these collaborations are an important part of what the Yarn Market Hotel offers: a welcoming hub for walking groups, outdoor enthusiasts and anyone looking to experience Exmoor with knowledgeable local support.
