Take time out at Skye Eco Bells, an off-grid Eco Glamping experience that will make your trip memorable. Think peace and tranquility, sitting around a crackling campfire or relaxing in the comfort of your own fully furnished tent. The tents are equipped with vintage & upcycled furniture and luxurious bedding to ensure your stay is cosy and comfortable. As an off grid site, candle power and lantern

s will light your way, while the gas shower is a pleasure in a large shower room unique to anything you might have tried before (large enough to share!) In keeping with our low impact ethos, toilets are composting. Forget the stereotype of the stinky compost toilet!! Think clean and fragrant and well stocked with reading material!

So after lots of consideration of how we can best match our offerings here at Skye Eco Bells in our 12th season we have decided to branch out a little and offer tours of Skye.
The Great White Beast can fit up to 8 people comfortably with faux leather seats, a fully working compost toilet and of course complimentary snacks of hummus dips and our very own homemade Kombucha served from en board fridge for those health and eco conscious warriors we aim to attract.

It doesn't stop there! The Great White with her off road capabilities means she can access places other tour companies can only dream of!! No more walking to the Fairy Pools or The Quiraing or many other iconic spots, we can drive right up and roll back the electric roof, take your photos and you don't even need to get your Vivobarefoot h**p shoes muddy before we head off to your next adventures......

Prices are very reasonable but bear in mind she only does 10mpg currently so fuel costs will need paying for but we are planning on converting her soon to run off vegan chip fat oil.

So after many years of owning Skye Eco Bells we have finally sorted Tool Shed 2.0 after Nadias original fell by the wayside.
This is genuinely my favourite build so far and will be awesome to find tools easily and have a home for them. Wee bit more organizing to do but it's 99.9% there.

Our end of season is fast approaching and we still have a few gaps in bookings if you or someone you know would like a wee break away to Skye.
It’s a great time of year, quieter and often great weather with some spectacular autumn views and the chance to see some snow on The Cuillin and returning to a cosy cabin with the stove on after your adventures.
