What a pleasure to be part of the final Lumiere Durham!

Going out on a literal high, we were delighted to showcase Ralf Westerhof's 'Take Flight' - a large-scale three-dimensional drawing in light, a neon bird perched on the front of our hotel. Visible across the city, for the artist it symbolises the freedom of letting go and the courage it takes to begin again.
