CHEFS North East are looking for experienced, reliable Relief Chefs to join our Relief Care home/ Nursery division

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and cook fresh, balanced, and appealing meals tailored to elderly residents.
• Cater for special dietary requirements, including IDDSI framework standards for modified/soft diets and swallowing difficulties.
• Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness, food hygiene, and safety compliance (HACCP).
• Work collaboratively with care and nursing staff.

Requirements
• Proven kitchen and cooking experience (ideally within a care home, healthcare, or residential setting).
• Valid Level 2 or Level 3 Food Safety Certificate.
• Valid Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership for Scotland (or willingness to complete/update checks). which we can assist with
Passion for delivering great food and care to vulnerable residents.

We offer excellent hourly rates and also travel is paid for certain areas
