Sleeping up to 11 guests across 5 bedrooms, with 4 bathrooms, Springhaven is ideal for multi-generational family breaks or friends holidaying together. There’s plenty of room to relax, with generous living spaces and a large open-plan kitchen-diner
that’s perfect for sociable meals and long, lazy evenings.

Outside, you’ll find a lovely garden terrace with a closable pergola — great for summer BBQs, morning coffee or sheltering from a brisk sea breeze. Step beyond the garden and you’re straight onto the private green leading to the beach.

Springhaven is available all year round and each season has its own magic. Summer brings sandy toes and long beach days, while winter offers something special too — there’s nothing like a peaceful walk along a deserted beach to blow away the winter blues, eh?

Today is "Independent Accommodation day". Now we're generally of the view that we have too many of these type of days! But it's here, and so are we, and we are independent accommodation.

You can of course book Springhaven via several booking platforms. Or you can book direct with us. Either way you get the same great accommodation. Spacious, luxurious, family friendly and most importantly, right on the beach.

Getting the family together is what a good holiday is all about.

Springhaven is perfect for large family holidays. Not only do we have five large bedrooms (one on the ground floor for anyone who's not so keen on stairs), we also have four bathrooms - and a huge hot water tank!

Throw in our spacious kitchen, huge dining tables (both inside and outside) that seat the whole family, and no less than three further reception rooms - so everyone can get comfy and you have a space that's perfect for everyone's holiday.

We can provide cots and a high chair too and our sofas are super comfy. So everyone's happy from the newest arrival to great-grandma and grandpa.

And it's all right by the beach!

With spring here why not get away from the city and enjoy a weekend on the Kent coast? Longer days, better weather and so much to do. Why not take the kids (from 8-80) and enjoy a ride on the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch miniature steam railway.

Ride to Dungeness, Europe's largest shingle foreshore - visit the nature reserve, visit the old lighthouse or just soak up the vibe of this fascinating corner of England.

Or enjoy walks along the sea wall, enjoy cricket, or frisbee, or making sandcastles on the huge sandy beach, or simply spend some quality time with your kids, your family or friends whilst enjoying the spacious, luxurious and homely atmosphere of Springhaven.

Spring has definitely sprung at Springhaven! The daffodils in the garden are out and there are still some oh so pretty snowdrops. Perfect for our guests checking in for this weekend.

Valentines day. There's little more romantic than a walk along the beach in the solitude of February - a beach that's right on your doorstep at Springhaven.

But where to eat out later if you're not staying in? There's a number of great restaurants local to Springhaven, many of which we frequent and love. But if pushed to choose for ourselves we'd be heading to Rocksalt at Folkestone Harbour. About 20 minutes by car from Springhaven, situated overlooking the harbour with an ambience that's perfect for a quiet evening for two. With a menu that emphasises local ingredients and a fine choice of wines, including several from the best wineries in Kent, it's a perfect place for a Valentines dinner. We'd always choose an extra course and enjoy their whipped cod's roe (pictured) with seaweed crackers to accompany a glass of truly excellent English sparkling wine from Kent as an amuse bouche.

And when you've eaten, you'll be back in the comfort of Springhaven quickly for a nightcap by the fire before retiring. And tomorrow? Perhaps just more walk along that beach!

"Springhaven on the Beach". And we really do mean it.

When you walk out of our front door and out of our front garden, you simply cross the private green and go through the gate onto the seawall.

The beach / sea is right there in front of you.

It takes one minute to walk - much less if you channel your inner child 😉
