🌿🐶 An idyllic end to summer at Beachy Head just outside Eastbourne…

There are some places that remind you just how lucky we are to have the South Downs and the Sussex coast right on our doorstep. 💙

🌧️🌊 Ahhh… the August Bank Holiday in Eastbourne! 😂

Just when you thought summer was here for good…

Typical Bank Holiday weather has entered the chat. ☔️😆

Grey skies, a little drizzle, a fresh sea breeze and a rather empty seafront — but do you know what? We still love it. 💙

Because Eastbourne isn't just about blue skies and sunshine. There's something rather atmospheric about the seafront when the clouds roll in, the sea is looking moody and you've got the promenade almost to yourself.

🐶🌿 Beachy Head in August… and Madge is loving it!

The grass may be looking a little more golden than green after Eastbourne's wonderful summer, but there's no doubt that all this sunshine has been a huge boost for tourism. ☀️🌊

Visitors have been enjoying the beaches, the seafront, the South Downs and, of course, spectacular views like this one at Beachy Head.

And the good news? Summer isn't over yet! 😎

WOW… what a day in Eastbourne! ☀️🌊

Super Saturday at Airbourne delivered everything you could want from the UK's biggest free seafront airshow – spectacular flying, roaring engines, incredible displays and thousands of people enjoying the sunshine along the Eastbourne seafront.

And then came the finale… the Eurofighter Typhoon! 🇬🇧⚡️

The roar of that fighter jet racing across the Sussex coastline was the perfect way to bring an incredible day of aviation to a close. 🔥✈️
