Eastbourne completely woke up this weekend, turning the coast into a moving canvas of dance, music, and unapologetic color.

The carnival is a massive highlight for our town every single year, and watching the parade march past was a beautiful reminder of what happens when a community gathers to celebrate pure expression.

At The Sheldon, we lean heavily into art, texture, and stories—so seeing our coastal home bursting with this much collective energy was pure magic.

Huge love to everyone who poured their time, soul, and choreography into making the town sparkle.

It was an unforgettable weekend, and we’re already looking forward to the next one. We are incredibly proud to be rooted right here in the middle of it all.

There’s nothing quite like the energy of a house filled with family, friends, and pure happiness. ✨

We recently hosted a delightful celebration here at The Sheldon, and it reminded us just how much we love being a backdrop for these moments. The day was filled with incredible Mexican food, flowing wine and drinks, desserts, and late trays of coffee and tea as the conversations stretched on. 🌮🍷🍰🫖

It left us with one clear thought: we need to host more events like this here.

Today we hosted a late breakfast at The Sheldon, bringing together the local business owners who make Eastbourne thrive. Between the coffee and the conversation, there was a shared energy—an exchange of ideas, support, and the kind of connection that helps our business community grow stronger.

Since May is Mental Health Awareness Month, we wanted to lean into the power of simply showing up for one another. Often, the best way to support our collective well-being is to step away from the desk, trade the “rush” for a slow breakfast, and find space to breathe and collaborate.

Supporting local isn’t just about business; it’s about the people behind the projects. When we grow together, we stay rooted in what matters most.
