Chalk Farm Hotel - Learning Disabilities Centre - EAPAG

Our aim is to give adults with learning disabilities the opportunity to receive training and employment within a realistic working hotel setting.

We pride ourselves with providing a high quality and supportive learning environment. Chalk Farm LDC (Learning Disabilities Centre) is run by the local charity E.A.P.A.G. (Eastbourne Area Parents Action Group) and is a registered charity and an accredited training centre, based at a fully functional hotel.

A huge thank you to everyone that came to our kids fun day on Thursday! We had so much fun and raised over £500 for the charity.
We didn’t take any photos or videos with it being a children’s event, so if you’ve got any pictures you’re happy to share then please post them in the comments.

A huge thank you for all the support with our fruit & veg stall! 🥕
We’ve had so many comments and messages asking if we will be posting daily with what is available, times etc. Unfortunately we won’t be able to keep up with posting each day. We harvest as the day goes on, plus we also use some in our kitchens so stock will vary. We may post occasionally on our stories to keep you updated.
We aim to be open between 9.30am-3.30pm each weekday unless we sell out before. If for whatever reason we are closed then we will post this on our stories.

The stand is by our gate on coopers hill. There’s a wide selection of home grown fruit and veg, which our students plant, water & harvest! We accept cash donations in the bucket. There are bags you’re welcome to use.
All donations go back into the garden project.

Great news! You can now purchase our homegrown fruit & veg 🥕

Today we have figs, different beans, onions, courgettes & potatoes! Please put donations in the tub, all the money will go back into the garden project. Thank you! 🥔

We were so honoured to receive this beautiful gift yesterday. Painted by the husband of a former Chalk Farm hotel chambermaid in 1989. This beautiful painting now hangs in the hotel in our Orwell lounge.
Thank you so much to the family of the artist for donating it to us 💚
Not a lot has change since then just some updated fire regs and taller plants!
