We are located within the South Downs National Park. Lots of walks from the doorstep. Dog friendly. Great birdwatching area (Cuckmere, Exceat, Tidemills, and more). Come and have a winter wander. We have a few weeks left in February and March.
Snowdrops have just started flowering.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
We are open in January and February, so treat yourself to a winter break enjoying the English countryside. We are located within the South Downs National Park, with walks from the doorstep. Cuckmere Haven and Exceat are just over the hill, Birling Gap, Beachy Head, Belle Tout are walk away. We are dog friendly. There is a cosy country pub nearby, and a coffee shop and a Thai restaurant. Perfect for a short break. The Ramblers Royal Kennel Club

Winter has arrived, but we are open and there are some lovely walks starting just 50 metres along the lane, up onto the South Downs. We are within the South Downs National Park and a fairly easy walk to Birling Gap, a 5 minute drive to Exceat where you can park and walk to Cuckmere Haven which is overlooked by the historic Coastguard Cottages, and Belle Toute and Beachy Head are another easy-ish walk away. A few steps away is the cosy Tiger Inn, Red Elephant Siam , and the Deli On The Green for coffee and cake. What's not to love!
