Our why 🫶

We keep every note left behind by guests. Since we started collecting them, we've received so many that you'll now find two picture frames full of little notes, sketches and thank yous across our first and second floor.

If you left one of these notes - thank you for letting us be part of your Edinburgh story.

Experience Edinburgh. Experience 28 York Place.

Meet the People of 28 👋

At 28 York Place, it's the people who make the place.

From the first welcome at the door to the details happening behind the scenes, there are people working across the hotel every day to make sure everything comes together.

They don't always get to take centre stage, so over the coming weeks, we'll be introducing 4 of the faces and personalities that make our hotel what it is.

First up is Chloe! Having just recently celebrated her 9th year at 28 York Place, Chloe knows the building inside and out. She started in the bar, then housekeeping, to trainee manager, to duty manager and now operations manager - so there’s really not an area of the business Chloe hasn’t dealt with! Listen to find out more about her role as Operations Manager.

This is the People of 28.

We often have the pleasure of hosting milestone birthday parties, from 21sts right through to 80ths and beyond!

Most recently however, we held a 1st birthday party in our Bar28 area, bringing the little ones friends and family together for a lovely afternoon of celebration. With transport links right on our door step, it meant it was easy for everyone to get together at our city centre location.

Thank you to Amy for her kind words and letting us help plan such a memorable first birthday!

Have a milestone occasion coming up? Don’t hesitate to contact our team.
