This two-bedroom, two-bathroom very spacious 4th floor apartment (lift access) is just 2 miles from the centre of Edinburgh. It has a has a fully equipped kitchen, large lounge with dining area, ample storage for your luggage/buggies, and two bedrooms with zip-and-link beds which can become super king or two single beds. y renovated, the apartment has been decorated in a classic, but modern design with lots of Scottish touches. A travel cot (linen not included) and highchair are available for guests to use. Pets welcome: 2-3 dogs (additional £20 cleaning fee applies)
The apartment building is a very modern, clean and quiet building in a gated block with a free secure parking space included with every rental. It is accessed via a private and very pleasant courtyard which is a sun-trap in good weather. We ask all guests to respect the peace and quiet of the local residents when entering and leaving by keeping noise to a minimum. Just a short walk from the building is Slateford train station which takes you to Haymarket, at the heart of Edinburgh, in just three minutes, or Waverley in eight minutes. Slateford road itself is a pleasant street with a supermarket next door, many shops and restaurants as well as being on a main bus route into the city and surrounding areas. Just 1.7 miles from Murrayfield stadium, 2.5miles from Edinburgh Zoo and 6.5 miles from Edinburgh airport, it is ideally situated for you to explore all that Edinburgh has to offer. The apartment is a perfect base from which you can sample the many local sights and eateries or have a night in after a busy day exploring the city, taking advantage of the dining area, large screen TV and free Wifi, or simply relax with a hot soak in the bath and complimentary toiletries from Scottish Fine Soaps.

You may be aware that Edinburgh council introduced new licensing laws for short term let (STL) properties on 1st October 2022.

Whilst this new policy has great potential to regulate and make properties safer, Edinburgh council have taken the decision to effectively ban all tenement flats with shared access from being used as STL.

Essentially, 1500+ properties are going to be banned from operating, meaning the prospect of finding self-catered accommodation in Edinburgh will be slim.

There is an opportunity to respond to this policy as tourists and visitors in the consultation below.
