POV: you went for a quick wander around the hotel and came back with a full camera roll. 📸

From the staircase and the library to the little details tucked around the public spaces, there always seems to be another corner worth stopping.

Consider this a little tour.

Edinburgh might look rather big from up here, but you’d be surprised how much of it you can explore on foot. 👣

From BB Edinburgh in the West End, Princes Street is around a 10-minute walk away, while Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile can both be reached in around 25 minutes.
The Royal Botanic Garden is around 25 minutes on foot too.

So, you can leave the car behind, head out of the front door and see a lot of the city before you’ve even thought about transport.

Edinburgh gets a little quieter in September and October, but certainly no less lovely.

If you prefer exploring the city once the August crowds have eased, we still have some availability for early autumn.

And this is what you’ll be coming back to at the end of the day. 🍂

"Hidden gem" gets used a lot these days... but this one might actually deserve the title.

Tucked away at the back of our hotel, our terrace looks straight across to Dean Village with uninterrupted views that many visitors, and even plenty of locals, never realise are here.
