Things in Scotland are opening up now and things are looking a lot more normal now. The weather has been unusually lovely in Edinburgh with plenty of sunshine. Perfect for seeing all the sights in Edinburgh and the rest of Scotland.
We have enjoyed cooler temperatures than southern parts of the UK, which means you can enjoy the sun but without the intense heat.

A scaled down Edinburgh Festival will be underway later this month. It won't be the same as usual, but hopefully back to it's amazing normal by August 2022.

We are finally getting busy again, so get that Edinburgh break booked before the summer is over.

Hi everyone,

Just a wee reminder that if you book directly with us, we guarantee the best prices and a 14 day cancellation policy.
This will be much better than booking us through an online travel agent, where you may have to pay upfront and/or there will be a much longer cancellation policy period, if you need to cancel.

If you have a booking with us, and there are sudden changes due to Covid-19 restrictions, we can be flexible and cancel these for you at short notice if you booked on our own website.
If you do have to cancel, remember that we never charge you a deposit and even if you did want to pay in advance, we won't force you to take a voucher if you do need to cancel.

We know things will still be hard for a while yet, but it's great to have something to look forward to.

We can't wait to be open again, and meeting all our customers.

We are now fully open for guests again.

All safety measures are in place to make your stay as safe as possible, so things will be a little different because of the virus.
Apart from that, you can be assured that you will get a really warm welcome, and we will do everything we can to make your stay here great.

Hello to everyone from Bonnie Scotland.

We have been very busy getting ready to re-open lately. We hope to be able to open up again around the 15th July, and we will have lots of measures in place to make sure our guests and ourselves will be safe. We will have to wait for government confirmation of this date, but watch this space.

The guest house has had lots of sprucing up done while we have been closed - lots of those jobs that have built up over the years have finally been completed.

You can book from the 15th July and up to late 2021 - if you don't feel like booking something this year.
