Heading into Edinburgh from Linwater? 🏰

One of the questions we get asked most often is “What’s the easiest way to get into Edinburgh?” 🤷‍♀️

🚋 By Tram – Ingliston Park & Ride
Just a 4-mile drive from Linwater, Ingliston Park & Ride is one of the easiest ways to get into Edinburgh city centre. It is free to park and costs roughly £4.00 for a return ticket.

🚌 By Bus – X27 from Calderwood
The closest bus stop to Linwater is in Calderwood, where you can catch the local X27 into Edinburgh city centre. Please allow up to an hour during busy periods, as the X27 is a local service.

🚲 By Bike – Union Canal
Fancy cycling into the city? 🚴‍♀️ The Union Canal towpath offers a lovely, direct route towards Edinburgh. Simply follow the canal east towards the city and enjoy the ride.
