Deacon Brodie’s Tavern
Great for traditional Scottish food and pub experiences. This is the exact place where I’ve tried my first ever ‘Haggis Tatties Neeps’ roughly 9 years ago. Ever since l keep coming for it.
Right in the heart of Edinburgh’s Old town this place offers cute authentic interiors, delicious food and very reasonable prices.
And there’s great story behind it’s name. The pub is named after one of the city’s most famous sons, Deacon William Brodie - one of the inspirations behind Robert Louis Stevenson’s Jekyll and Hyde.
