Our Story

Marchmont Self Catering was set up in 2008, and since then we’ve been providing fully equipped family-friendly self catering accommodation in central Edinburgh.

Our holiday apartments offer homely self catering accommodation in Edinburgh. They're only a few minutes walk from Edinburgh University, and the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle and the key Edinburgh Festival venues are within a 10 minute walk. They're fully-equipped and come with everything you could need for your stay, including all bed linen and towels supplied as well as pots, pans, crockery and all kitchen equipment. Each apartment also has WiFi throughout. Roseneath Apartment has a study which will particularly suit someone who is in Edinburgh for business. On top of this it has a lovely view of Edinburgh Castle. Gladstone Apartment is located on the ground floor so is particularly popular with families. It has a large dining table in the bay window where many guests enjoy working with their laptop.

Our prices vary depending on the season and can be let for a minimum of 6 nights, although shorter lets of 3 nights may be possible where we have late availability.
