Something special has landed in the Snug Bar. 🥃

The Borders Distillery in Hawick is the first legal wh**ky distillery to operate in the Scottish Borders since 1837 — nearly two centuries of silence before spirit finally flowed again in 2018. Housed in a beautifully restored Victorian building on the banks of the River Teviot, and using barley grown entirely within 35 miles of the distillery, this is a true taste of place.

Come pull up a seat in the Snug and taste a piece of Borders history for yourself.

Autumn has arrived at The Glasshouse… 🍂🍷

The evenings are getting a little cooler, which means one of our favourite seasons in The Snug has officially begun.

Settle in beside the fireplace with a beautiful glass of w**e, a charcuterie board to share (or not!) and nowhere else you need to be.

There’s something rather special about escaping the Edinburgh autumn, finding a cosy corner and watching the fire while enjoying good w**e and even better company.

Why not treat yourself? 🔥

We’ll save you a seat by the fire.
