One of our absolute fave views of Edinburgh is from Calton hill, right at the end of Princess street. Super easy to get to the top and check out the famous landmarks like Edinburgh’s disgrace. But honestly, taking in the view of the whole city is what makes it worth it.

To welcome our guests, we're giving away a tasty treat - Tunnock's Tea Cakes and a special Edinburgh beer in honour of the legendary Doddie Weir!

The Burns room transformation is almost complete! We've added new windows, carpets, beds, and mattresses to create a cosy atmosphere. Just a couple of final pieces to go, but I wanted to share the progress with you all. Will post more pictures when it's finished

New windows are in and I'm loving the results! Have to wait for the paint to dry on the fresh coat, but the wait will be worth it. Imagine that window a shade darker when it's fully dry 😂. The temperature difference is night and day, and our house has never felt cosier. Perfect timing for November's chill.

While we wait for a couple of finishing touches before I reveal the new windows, here’s a sneak peak at the Christmas decorations starting to go up. Can’t believe it’s that time of year again.

Big changes are coming to Ard Na Said this week! We're installing new windows in the bedrooms, going for a traditional sash and case look with a modern twist. Safer, greener, and cozier for our guests, especially in winter. We'll keep you updated on the progress!

Not sure how 9 years have gone by, but for our anniversary this year we finally treated ourselves to a new sign with our updated logo. Also got a a great hat with our logo which you’ll probably see me wearing a lot. Can’t wait to share some of the other updates we’ve got planned for the next couple of months 🙌🏼
